Maaris Meier, NeoLife athlete and several time Estonian mountain biking champion has won many titles, for example was she the Winner of Portugal Cup Road 2017, the Champion of Porto region XCO 2016 and the overall winner of Big Ride Open de Espanha de Enduro 2016, just to mention a few of her many accomplishments. We are very proud that she is a part of our NeoLife Sport’s Team.

What do you do once you’ve become a prestigious 1 Diamond Director?

Well, if you ask President’s Team members, Louis & La-Verne Smith, they’d answer; “Take your team to Africa.” And that’s just what they did! We recently got to speak with Louis about their unforgettable 3-week adventure with 20 of their Eagle team members in South Africa.

NL: What was your motivation behind taking your Eagle team on this adventure?
Louis: My lovely wife, La-Verne, and I looked at it as a way of challenging our team and also as an amazing opportunity for team building. As we have an international business, we were able to have Distributors from England, with Africa joining us as well. So it was three countries coming together — it was fantastic!  

NL: What made you pick South Africa as the destination?
Louis: That’s originally where we’re from, and over the last 6 years our team has been asking questions about Africa and what it’s like. Knowing that, we wanted them to experience it first-hand; so I decided to make this an incentive challenge to everyone on my team. Anyone who remained qualified during the period I specified would earn a trip to South Africa! We even gave them a 2-month exception window to be unqualified should they need it. We just wanted as many people as possible from our team to experience this!

NL: That’s awesome. Can you tell us a little about how 20 Eagle team members were able to join you?
Louis: Yes, NeoLife is an opportunity for self-employment without the stress and headaches that come with a normal job. Along with being your own boss, and building a residual income, you get what I call “flexi time”, where you get to do what you want in your time.




What are some highlights of your South Africa adventure?
Louis: Our team has been dreaming about seeing elephants, so La-Verne and I took them to Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest game reserves. We could even see the wild animals straight from all our rooms at the resort! We saw everything from lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos and, eagles to elephants! We also travelled to the Wild Coast, which is known as a natural treasure. In addition to spectacular views, we got to watch performances from the locals who sang and danced for us. Then we went to the Indian Ocean and St. Lucia where we saw hippos and crocodiles. Then up through Swaziland to visit game reserves. And you know, it wouldn’t be a NeoLife team adventure without a stop at the NeoLife offices!

NL: What excites you most about your future with NeoLife?
Louis: I’m excited knowing that I’m making a difference in people’s lives so they can own themselves; what I mean by this is that these people can have personal freedom and not have to work for a boss. I can empower families to own themselves, be financially free, not have to request time off work for a family vacation, and to be financially self-reliant! Not just improving their physical wellbeing through the products, but also their spiritual health through fellowship and just loving others. I want to leave a legacy knowing that I gave every family I came across a choice to live a healthier life.

Team meetings give energy and inspiration for everyday work

Emerald Directors Marjo and Vaito Niinsalo know to appreciate the power of the team. They have been building their NeoLife team for more than a decade and they find that they get a tremendous amount of energy and renewed strength from meeting up with their team for fun activities and learning.

– Every summer we invite our team members to our farm to spend a day together. This day always includes an energetic meeting and we enjoy a nice meal together. Every person brings something to the table for this special meal, in line with our team spirit. For example we have enjoyed delicious fish soup with bread from every part of Finland, and sipped coffee with a special blueberry pastry called “rättänä”.

It is clear that this team has a lot of fun together, but they have also managed to find a good balance between business and pleasure. This summer get-together is not all about delicious food and pleasant company, it is also about learning and practising the skills you need for your day to day work as a NeoLife distributor.

– Before we meet, team members have prepared their individual sessions where they share their thoughts and knowledge on a chosen subject. We also spend time practising business and product presentations together. At the end of the event we hold a business presentation where everyone can invite guests and introduce them to the NeoLife opportunity. For us, this day is also an opportunity to hear how our team members are doing, plan future activities and set goals for the new season.

Marjo and Vaito have found a great way of combining important business activities with relaxed teambuilding activities. It is important to take good care of your team, and it certainly seems that Niinsalo’s team are well taken care of!

– Culture is always part of our summer day at the farm as we enjoy music, singing, poetry or visit some historic site. After the event we heat the sauna by the lake and dive into the cool waves, and towards new goals.

– Based on the feedback we receive, Distributors think these meetings are important, encouraging, inspiring and they enjoy the feeling of being part of a team. The team is power! The friendships that are born and the common sharing encourage and give new enthusiasm to our NeoLife business.

A journey of growth together

m-a_siekkinenAt first our need for joining the business was purely economic. We were looking for a way to earn something extra for our everyday lives, something that would not require too much effort in relation to the results. It was easy to choose the company as our partner due to its values and product lines. At that point we did not yet understand what an incredible opportunity NeoLife is. Our everyday lives have truly changed and our social network has exploded. We are now part of a big global family. NeoLife has become a way of living that we are happy to share with others.

The core of our business is our symbolic MaijAmi train program. Everyone determines themselves how far or near they want to travel with their train. In our train schools we show the right tracks and help with backtracking if the train has gone on the wrong track.  We repeat a train program that is divided in four parts. We have a business training every week, same day and same time. In these trainings the new distributors can learn and train the necessary skills for the business in a safe atmosphere. The products are covered on necessity basis, and mostly as the tools for the business. You can also join in to get a new spark in case you are unsure about what you want from this business. One evening every month the theme is “goal train”. Teaching does not automatically result in learning and that is why these evenings are mostly conversation around the theme of the evening. The message reaches the receiver best when the need for information rises from the listener.

In addition to the regular meetings we have lots of personal meetings with team members and their guests. Some team members have their own product meetings for their own growing teams. Our team has a Facebook page for sharing information and experiences. Working closely with the team makes the group and the relationships between members stronger. Every now and again we meet together with other teams. This way our team members can see other ways of doing the business and we can share what we have to give. We always try to participate ourselves and encourage our team to come to company events.m-a-siekkinen_nec

Most of us are not business people when we start, and we have concerns about our own capabilities. Growing together is a wonderful experience, and what makes us happiest is when we see people get over their fears and find their strengths on a whole new level. We are grateful that NeoLife makes it possible for everyone to utilise their own strengths. This business allows anyone to offer people around them the opportunity to change the course of their life.

Inspired by an amazing Convention

In this touching text, Emerald Director Marita Latovehmas describes what NeoLife Conventions are all about. Be inspired by her story, and start planning for European Convention 2017 in Barcelona with your team!

Our preparations for this convention started already with last year’s Convention in Venice: that’s where we started building a plan on how to achieve the diamond ring in Stockholm. We also started developing our team in order to get as many as possible to join us for the convention.

At the convention itself it was very well highlighted through other distributors stories how people from so different backgrounds have been able to change the course of their lives. Some through the products, some through the business.

Sami Jauhojärvi, a man of many achievements, opened up the top athlete’s psychology for us. He also told us how NeoLife products help when you need to have 1 % better performance than your competitors. He shared what is required to get to the top and how he is the product of the strong team that he has gathered around him.

The speakers and everything they gave us was top notch! The speeches evoked so many inspiring thoughts and conversations with our team, as well as with other convention participants.

The Sparkling White Party was just the kind of party that we expected it to be, where we can truly let our hair down. Everyone had really made the effort, and even the band wore white. I was very happy to introduce my team to the way we let loose and have fun at the conventions.

Walking up on stage, the once so distant dream, at the Stockholm convention we did that three times! At the party we received the diamond ring and during the convention day we received the All Gold recognition. The closing of the convention was very touching as all those who got recognition were invited on stage.

Achievements are often measured in money, but NeoLife incentives are so much more! They ignite the inner fire to achieve more and more. It is a pleasure and an honour to bring a group of enthusiastic team members with us. For years we have attended the conventions just the two of us, but now we had a group of 9. It was heart-warming to see their enthusiasm. So many people got a spark in Stockholm and set their goal for the next convention in Barcelona. We will at least double our participating team there!

New goals and plans for the next convention have already been made; together with our team we are building a better and healthier world. And we truly believe that we will see a lot more team members on stage in Barcelona. It is a matter of honour for us!
